$15 per person for the Sushi Lunch buffet which is awesome. I could have watched him eat. He had so much joy. But to be honest, it was not $15 for the meal for both of us, so challenge failed, but we celebrated life so well worth it.

Not too long ago we went through job transitions and needed to watch our spendings closely. We didn't want to miss out on one of our all-time favorite thing to do: eating out.

So we came up with a budget to go on cheap lunch dates ($15 or less):

It's the Cheap Date challenge!

While we don't always have to eat cheap any longer, we are still very happy whenever we find a new spot that works well for our taste buds and wallet.
