Armed with all kinds of plastic containers and mason jars, I took my kids to PCC today. I wanted to check out their bulk section and hoped to refill my shampoo container.

We left excited with some cookies and croissants for the kids (in paper bags).
I found penne pasta in bulk.
I got trail mix for our upcoming camping trip.
I filled a mason jar with freshly grinded chocolate/peanut butter.
We got some white chocolate almonds as treats.
I got some licorice root for occasional heartburn.
I also got a glass jar of tomato sauce to go with the pasta.

I was a bit anxious at the checkout as I prefer self checkout with bulk items - and because I put oz units as weight on my jars and containers instead of lb, the cashier just charged for full weight including container, which wasn't ideal for the products I put in glass jars.

I took note of being able to refill olive oil, coconut oil and maple syrup for a future visit.
Kids also got to pick a free fruit, but I could not find any way to refill my shampoo bottle.

Guess I will need to keep looking...
