I would be interested in becoming a Forest Steward for my green belt next door at Fairmount Park. Our green belt has some ivy and Holly invasion and I couldn't figure out who to ask or who will take care of this from the City. If I could get the authority and a bit of information/training, on how and when, I would be up for helping. I'm planting trees with my family, we are involved in the Youth organization 'Plant for the Planet', we built the Bee Garden in West Seattle, I attended classes on Nature Connection at the Wilderness Awareness School and grew up playing in the forest. Let me know if this is a possibility. I am also interested in working for your organization. I am looking for a meaningful project, but I haven't found any job openings, but know that getting involved is usually a first step in the right direction. We will also head to Ampersand tonight.
