The life of man is of no greater importance
I was happy to be back with my floating Huckleberries, the old, wise stumps with holes in them - where the little birds played last time.
My Hemlock/cedar trees who are all connected.
Listening to a squirrel alerting and as I found out later – jays (should have been a familiar sound to me).
I wanted to sketch, but didn’t get to it, after playing with the GPS and doing some intense relaxing and thinking.
Once some mammals (instructors) walked past, but overall I did not see anything, no birds, squirrels, worms, ants – nothing. I think the forest wants to teach me patience. Oh, also loved seeing my sitspot with new eyes as I looked at lots of details through my binoculars.
