Eastern was great fun. Tim helped Marco paint and hunt Easter eggs. We had lamb and potatoes and were invited to a friend's birthday parties. So was a bit of everything on Easter Sunday.
Tim and I are still very busy with many baby activities such as moms group, baby movement and walking. During the breaks - if Tim takes a nap - I started a blog with baby products that helped me over the past couple of months. The collection can be admired on my blog http://www.americanbaby.de. After half a year of abstinence from any computer work it feels really great to have a project to think about and feeling my brain is used for something useful. So feel like I am pregnant with this project and fairly passionate. But at least it's about babies and justifies if I have to buy something new for Tim. :-)

Most fussy, crying babies get happy quickly if you put off their clothes and blow them with a hair dryer on low heat.
Just be careful with boys, cover their genitals, so if they start peeing they won't hit the air dryer. ;-) I no longer have undisturbed time on the computer - and when I am, I prefer to chat online with my old friends via Skype and MSN chat. Once in a while I upload some images. Pictures say more than 1000 words anyway. I also write on Tim's blog. ;-)
This is what my life currently looks like: puzzles, TV & eating chocolate (I have strong chocolate cravings since I had Tim). Most of my day is child centered and we have a full program: Tuesday is PEPS (Mom support group), Thursday Stroll with PEPS Moms, Friday Moms & Baby Yoga + Baby Gym. Monday and Wednesday we visit friends and have play dates. And weekend is Family Time. On a regular day we get up, get Tim fed and dressed, play, checking email, chatting with Mom and Jule, going for a walk, shopping for dinner, getting my obligatory chocolate chip cookie as a reward, cuddling, then TV, expecting Marco home for dinner, bath time and then bed. As mentioned above my time to read emails and reply is short. Life is excellent to us and today we are delighted that it is the weekend again and Marco has time during the day to spend with Tim and me. Spring is coming and trees and flowers are blooming. Very pretty to look at. Nicole told me recently, Americans tell her 'our children would be born in the most beautiful city in America': Seattle. Although I don't know many other US cities, but Seattle is definitely prettier than Las Vegas. |
