Wikipedia Definition: 
The phrase soccer mom broadly refers to a middle-class suburban woman who spends a significant amount of her time transporting her school-age children to activities such as soccer practice and music lessons.

Since early March, Tim goes to soccer practice twice a week and I am therefore officially a Soccer Mom. I see our car now much more often from the inside with all the trips from Spanish preschool to shopping home and then soccer. In between also trips for Co-op Preschool, PEPS , Mini Gym, Play dates, pediatrician and the Woodland Park Zoo. 

However, soccer practice is quite chaotic for 3 year olds. Coach Doug has lots of ideas, but the 5 Dwarves in his team have even more crazy ideas. Timmy takes ownership of the soccer ball that was assigned to him from the beginning of the training. He carries it across the hall, so no one else gets to play with it. If he does not carry it, he is sits on it. 

During the third week, my patience was at the low point and I asked him if he cares for practice at all as he never listens to the coach and only sits or lies on the ball. He was not happy about my critic but after it he finally scored a goal. 

After 4 weeks of training Coach Doug decided to assign Tim the role as goalie which makes him way more happy than kicking the ball.Even little Sarah kicks the ball more during Tim's practice and when he finally scores a goal once in a blue moon he is busy to make all present parents to applaud to and tell the coach Mama bribed him into shooting a goal with 'watching TV' afterwards. Yes, I admit, I did what I had to do.

The assistant coach took me aside and ask me, if I considered signing Tim up for basketball practice instead. Yeah, thanks. Well, at least he has a lot of fun and is mighty proud of every goal and I can write about it. Win win. ;-))

I just got aware of the connection between my very reduced blog entries and Sarah's first steps. 

Since she started walking I can only do tasks for a maximum of 5 minutes tasks if she is awake and in the evening I usually have no energy left for any creative 'outpourings'. But it gets easier every day. 

Let's see, when I will get my creative mojo back. I haven't done anything with my painting supplies for at least 2 years - only scribbled with Crayons upon Timmy request.
