The summer of '99 had a lot to offer in terms of private parties and so we took part in the Street Battle, where everyone came armed with something sticky and gooey to fire at the other participants. In addition to flour catapults, Schokokuessen, syrup and other Schleimkram loud music from ghetto blasters made it a great party. We were a little late and watched for most of the happening from a wise distance til the authority arrived and shut it down.
There were some more semi-legal techno parties happening under bridges, deep in the forest and in old barracks. It was were exciting - and sometimes we even had to run fast.
Optimistic, curious, human bee.
